What we've built:

A unique dating brand that arranges same and next-day dates over shared experiences in under 10 minutes. We've aligned our business and mobile experience with the idea that dating is about finding chemistry, and chemistry is created in person.


What we're looking for:

We’re looking for a Chief Marketing Officer who is ready to guide our company & brand through growth as we scale our product. As our CMO, you have the opportunity to use your marketing skillset to change relationship paradigms across the world.

As a member of the executive team, you'll work closely with The Round's CEO to oversee the future of The Round's marketing organization and strategy. You'll be integral in directing our brand vision, voice, and strategy, with accountability for growing our user base as we launch across the country.

In this role, you will forge partnerships, create and execute campaigns, and grow user growth for The Round across all channels. You will build, coach and manage a team of innovative marketers, who will use creative & data-driven strategies to hit growth targets in new and existing markets in major US cities and beyond.

  1. Build a world-class brand for a product that people love and need: You'll be responsible for overseeing the way people interact with our brand. As our CMO, you'll reach people through experiences, content on our social channels, blog, through public relations, partnerships, and more. You'll also work on establishing our thought leadership in the dating space. You'll be the one to spearhead all marketing efforts that guide people to our app and keep them engaged for life-long relationship insight along the way.

  2. Help to establish our voice at The Round: You'll be instrumental in crafting how we communicate our mission, vision, and values - whether it's written, visual, or experimental. From building a strong team and working with the world's top dating experts to creating original, engaging pieces, posts, and podcasts, all the way to throwing events and working with influencers, you'll be responsible for creating experiences and content for our users to engage with and share with their friends.

  3. Meaningfully shape our future brand, marketing content and product strategy: You'll oversee strategic planning across marketing channels: brand, field, digital, partnerships (non-revenue), regional marketing and engage with our community, to gain insights to help us serve them better. We will produce new types of marketing efforts based on these insights and ultimately you'll work with our product team to inform what we do next.

  4. Join a fantastic team at a magical time: We're launching our new product to an appreciative group of users with a small, newly funded team. This gives us a green field to work with. You'll join us at the perfect time to shape how we grow from here on out.

  5. Elevate your skills as we tackle our most impactful challenges: With this role, you'll have the opportunity to execute your abilities in creative brand direction, grassroots field marketing, partnership and campaign creation, team building and management, as well as data & analytics. You'll be able to grow as an expert in mobile marketing, dating, and branded content, while working to establish The Round as a leader in the space.
